Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel - Asbury Park

All in all everything was great, had a nice stay on rainy weekend. The restaurant was great for the food and service they provide here, I had excellent dishes. The location was marvellous, close to Asbury Splash Park. The area was very nice, a fabulous base for me.

the staff was friendly. the design of the rooms and the lobby is nice.

the heat was not working the night of my stay. it was set at the highest setting and the room was still quite cold. the parking lot is around the back of the hotel but the only entrance is in the front. it'd be nice to be able to get into the building from the parking lot.

Right on the beach - great pool - great staff - great room

Housekeeping never came...had to call for at least towels -- but they were there within 5 minutes so really no complaint

There was no refrigde in room nor microwave

wonderful beach access but prepare for no heat during cold nights

clock and lamp weren't plugged in, was hard to plug them, crawl under table. didn't appreciate fee for late checkout as hotel didn't seem full. kinda pricey.

They really work to keep the hotel beautiful!

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a fine ocean view that provided a refreshing backdrop to my work. The staff was efficient in assisting with my presentation setup, everything was in order. The location was also convenient, just a short walk to the boardwalk and nearby amenities.

Spacious rooms, some have a nice beach view.

Overall the hotel/room was quite good, no serious complaints. However, the absence of a minibar was a bit surprising.

Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel offers lovely, spacious rooms with fine ocean views. The staff was friendly. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, and the pool area is vibrant and inviting.

Decent size room, a shower, hairdryers and bath sheets in the room.

The Delphin Grille was deliocious! Definately recommend it for dinner. Also you can bring your dog big or small.

The elevators need some work as well as the pool area. This could be a fabulous hotel with a little extra renovation.

We always get an ocean view room-we just really like the off season at asbury.Great view and sound of waves.Walking distance to everything we like.Staff has always been courteous and helpful-every time.Rooms very nice,spacious and comfortable.The lounge/grille came out good.Would not try another place.Looking forward to our next stay already.Sincerely yours,Berkeley customers Johnny & Julie.

This is really not a dislike at all. No fault of the hotel or staff but our adjoining room group was very loud.No way we could relax-Asked for different room which was granted right away.Not a big deal but shower soap/shampoo dish and toilet paper hanger were broken off and window sill needs repainting[738].We've stayed now 4-5 times since remodeling was done-always been real nice and this was no big deal/just wanted to make a mention.[ re-do parking lot would be nice ].

The Pool & Cabana Club was a perfect spot to chill, and we also enjoyed a fun day at the nearby arcade. Just a heads-up, the pool can get crowded, so plan accordingly. Definitely grab a spot early to enjoy the vibes!

Had a disappointing moment when housekeeping left our door open after cleaning. We were worried about our belongings, but thankfully, nothing was missing.

The restaurant was very good for dinner. Nice location and close to Asbury Park.

No heating, weird decor, outdated fixtures and disappointing continental breakfast.
